Tatanka Hill Farm currently consist of 250 acres near the small town of Villanow, GA, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, not far from Chattanooga, TN. Our bison roam about half of this acreage in lush, rolling pasture and wooded lots - where they love to hide from prying eyes!
Our bison are pasture raised (no feedlots!) on natural grasses and legumes as their primary diet. They are occasionally given small amounts of grain, which allow us to easily move them from pasture to pasture or move them into our working corrals. With bison, the old adage is true : "You can move a bison anywhere it wants to go!"
